I am an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist with extensive experience in supporting both children (aged 8 and up) and adults with a range of mental health difficulties. In my therapeutic work, I encourage clients to share their personal goals and aspirations, which I incorporate into treatment planning. I believe that understanding the impact of early life experiences on one’s current thoughts, feelings, and behaviours is crucial in making meaningful, lasting change.
One of the aspects of my work I take the most pride in is my ability to create a warm, open, and non-judgmental space for conversation. I understand that therapy can be a daunting decision, which is why I make it a priority to build a trusting and supportive environment where clients feel safe to explore their experiences.
I tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each person, whether that involves problem-solving strategies or simply providing a safe space to process life events. Together, we’ll work to make sense of what you’ve experienced and help you shift towards a more fulfilling and empowered way of living.

Deciding to start therapy is a big step, and I recognize how important it is to feel heard, supported, and understood. Many of my clients have shared that they find me approachable, warm, and easy to talk to, which I’m grateful for. I offer a free 15-minute consultation where we can discuss your concerns, explore how therapy can help you, and determine the best way forward.
At CBT with Sonia, I value every individual’s story and am honoured to be part of your transformation journey. My goal is to help you understand the connections between your past experiences and your current challenges, while equipping you with the tools to create positive change.
I look forward to working with you and supporting you in building a life that feels more fulfilling and balanced.
